(and no, not because clerith is ~in the way of my otp~, i generally dont care for shipwars and i think its kinda cringe when people mald and foam at the mouth bc of the cloti vs clerith thing (sowwy...) anyways i liked their dynamic in CC and i think both of their happy-gremlin energies together is really fun! plus as a woman who married someone that was military, it was always my fear to never have him come home to me when deployed. so like...i can just appreciate the tragedy of zerith in a way that's special to me.

vincent x tifa | ffvii [when im feeling particularly masochistic, i like reading fic about heartbroken tifa moving on with vincent, whomst has experience of being second choice LOL. aesthetically, i think they are very beautiful together but i also think there's a lot of beauty in a quiet, mature (yet passionate) romance which is what i feel they would have.]

squall x rinoa | ffvii [ i think they are cute, love their dynamic and i also relate to their whole thing of soldier x spoiled princess type (that has a high ranking military father)

cleon | resident evil [a hated rarepair lol...but i just like them together. i ignore the movie (degeneration?damnation? idr) where they come to dislike eachother. aesthetically speaking, ada is more my type and very very beautiful but i dont like her personality + motivations. i've been partial to claire since i was like 7.

shinkami | bnha [i think this is probably my most embarassing ship LMAO but i really love them together though they interacted for a few panels in the manga iirc. the fanart is SO cute and i really love more stoic/serious characters being paired off with goofy-dumbass types or sweethearts in my BL. i've read like 90% of all their fic on AO3 (there was a time when i spent literal DAYS just reading their fic and sleeping) my only complaint is...a certain side of the fandom has like uh. DDLG-ified them and it makes me wanna die when there's daddy/kitten talk in fic lmfaookfdkkadk ]
